Outlook 2000 Email Installation
Welcome to Tutorial for setting up Outlook 2000 to send/receive email through Net-Port.
Follow these instructions step by step to ensure
a correctly setup connection.
1. Open Outlook
2. Click on the Tools menu
3. Select "Accounts" in the tools menu
4. In this window, click on the Add button, then click Mail
5. Type in your Display Name in this field. (When you send an
email to someone, they will see your Display Name in the From field.)
6. Click Next
7. Type in your email address
8. Click Next
9. In both the incoming and outgoing mail server text fields,
type mail.net-port.com
10. Click Next
11. Type your password
12. Click Next
13. Click Finish
14. Press the close button.
Congratulations! You have created your account in
Outlook 2000. You may start sending and receiving email as soon as
you are connected to the internet.
