Windows XP Dial-Up Installation
Numbers beneath pictures correspond the step numbers.
Welcome to Tutorial for setting up Windows XP to dial
into Net-Port.
Follow these instructions step by step to ensure
a correctly setup connection.
1. First, click
on the Start Menu
2. From there, go to All Programs -> Accessories -> Communications
-> New Connection Wizard
3. This is the Wizard that will guide you through the setup process,
you will now see a window that reads "Welcome to the New Connection
Wizard"
4. Click Next
5. Click on the selection that reads "Connect to the Internet"
6. Click Next
7. Click on the selection that reads "Connect using a dial-up
modem"
8. Click Next
9. In this field, type Net-Port
10. Click Next
11. In this field, type one of the following dial-in Numbers:

12. Click Next
13. Now you will need to insert your username, and password.
(The second password field is to verify that it is typed correctly)
14. Click Next
15. Check "Add shortcut to this connection on my desktop".
This will make connecting to the internet more convenient.
16. Click Finish
Congratulations! You have made the connection to the Internet.
To access the internet, open the shortcut on the desktop to Net-Port
and press connect. This will make the connection to Net-Port. After
the modem is done making all of handshaking "noises", you
can access the internet through the Internet Explorer icon on your desktop,
or in the Start Menu.
